Learning Gradient Tools in Adobe Illustrator

Flash Drive
This is the first of a series of projects we did involving different kinds of gradient tools in Adobe Illustrator. We were given a set of instructions to replicate a USB flash drive. In this project we learned how to use linear gradients and various different effects such as drop shadows.
Gear Box
This is the second of a series of projects we did involving learning the gradient tools. The tutorial for this project was much more complicated than the Flash Drive. In this project we used radial gradients, alignment tools, transform, clipping masks, and transparency in order to create the 3D gear box effect.
Pepper
This was the last of the gradient projects in which we were instructed to follow a tutorial. This project was all about the gradient mesh and trying to recreate a pepper as accurately as possible.
Cherries
In this project we had to combine we combined everything we've learned and recreate a realistic object. Here I mostly used the gradient mesh tool to recreate some cherries. Although I am happy with how it turned out, many things such as the white spots and the stem could have been improved.
iPad
This was another project I did on my own using the gradient tools. Here I mostly used linear and raidal gradients to recrate an iPad with a case. This project was relatively simple as I just used some geometric and some manipulated shapes to create the body of the iPad.
