Red River College converted the Union Bank Tower into a culinary school and student residence. The original building uses early tower construction techniques and was the tallest building in the British Empire at the time of its construction. The redevelopment project is a LEED Gold Candidate.
Role: I assisted lead designers and prepared the majority of the drawings during the design development and contract drawing phases. To aid in the design, I also performed multiple site investigations on the original tower.
Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Work complete while employed at Prairie Architects.
