This mural was made for the son of Scott Wertz, a police officer in the City of Reading, PA,  who was killed in the line of duty on August 6, 2006. Scott was a big Yankees fan and  passed on his love of the Yankees to his sons. As a memorial to his dad, I used Scott's badge with wings.  Scott's oldest son loved this painting so much he now wears it as a tattoo.
