A perpetual work in progress. I started this project two years ago for an animation class at university.
I wanted to create a motion graphic music video with a unique visual style, that utilised entirely hand crafted assets. The experimental design style evokes an exuberance appropriate to visualising The Cure's 1983 classic, and is inspired by retro MTV idents and music videos from the era.
