Island Collective GmbH is responsible for the Ink & Ride in Hamburg.
A fusion of tattoo, bike and art sees to a contemporary interpretation of the term “convention”. Always being up to date, the Ink & Ride is an event which inspires tattoo lovers from the scene all over Germany and manages to portray tattoos and the surrounding lifestyle in the positive light which they deserve. The project’s main focus lies on the conception, the planning and implementation of the event.
The program consists of various tattoo areas represented by skilled artists. A bmx ride area lets people test their own abilities in the parkour. During the bmx contest, riders show off their skills to both, the judges and the audience. Different artists display their works in the art exhibition area. The outdoor spaces provide a lot of space for graffiti walls and art workshops. Contests like the nomination of the newcomer artist and the tattoo of the day acknowledge the artist’s works. The Ink & Ride party always attracts a lot of enthusiastic people ready to have a great night with great live acts.
