    This personal project began with the exploration of architecture and how I could apply graphic design to it. This building was built by Oscar Niemeyer, a Brazilian architect. Being Brazilian and Swiss myself, I thought there could be a good fictional mix here in between this Brazilian congress building and the system in which Swiss citizens vote for the passing of each new law. Switzerland being a direct democracy, it has a unique voting system. Direct democracy allows any citizen to challenge any law approved by the parliament or, at any time, propose a modification of the federal Constitution. Voting is usually done by post where citizen receive at home, a voting package. In this package, they can read about the parliamentary debate and make an informed decision on the passing of the new law. I therefore created a fictional voting package for the Brazilians Congress to send to its citizens “Swiss style”. Read Less
