Sanctus. Branding Space Water.

The Brief
Brand a new type of water that will be harvested from space, this exciting new product is "the purest water known to man."

The Concept
Both the quality of the product and its unique harvesting process allowed me to transform ‘space water’ into a luxury brand.
My design utilises the striking technology of levitation by electromagnetism to transform the consumption of water into an experience desired by any luxury consumer. The zero gravity element pays homage to the products harvesting process and allows the consumer to physically connect to the brand’s story. Being aesthetically striking, technologically advanced, and bosting a minimal, monochrome visual identity, the packaging perfectly communicates the pure, premium and majestic values of the brand.
Advertising
The advertising campaign includes print, web and installations. Sanctus’s striking charisma comes from its purity and levitating ability, therefore the adverts can remain stripped back, being effortlessly grand. The open white space allows the product and its tagline to command all the attention. The tagline ‘Weightless Class’ evokes in the onlooker a feeling of effortless superiority, enticing them to be a consumer of higher class, thus cultivates a desire for luxury.
Throughout the campaign the idea of ‘Weightless Class’ is maintained by the zero-gravity element within the adverts, its monochrome simplicity and its use of premium technology.
Print
The print advertising uses lenticular paper, which gives a 3D effect, to show the bottle spinning and levitating. This advertising exists in luxury lifestyle magazines and posters placed in up-market areas of cities.
Web
The web design consists of banners, the shape of which can be adjusted. When portrait, the bottle levitates and spins slowly (as the print campaign), and when landscape, or square, the bottle floats and bounces off of the boundaries of the banner, as if in zero-gravity.
Installation
The installation campaign uses holographic projection to allow the bottle to appear floating in zero-gravity. The installation would exist in busy, up-market, urban areas. One will also be placed on a skyscraper, this could be visible for miles and being the highest and largest advertisement in the city it would command an elite status.
Thankyou!
