This was my final project for a class called Digital Imaging. Not exactly digital art, but the process of creating a cross stitch is so like how a computer draws an image pixel by pixel that it seemed appropriate.

The cross stitch was designed to create an image when looked at from a distance. Interestingly, many in the class were unable to see it, while others saw it right away.

I kept the snarls, tangles, missed stitches, and mistaken colors as they occurred, as a kind of physical glitch art.
