60's labyrinth pattern design - part II

60's labyrinth pattern design

It's a project that has the aim of creating patterns with a labyrinthine movement in the style and fashion of the 60's. I took my inspiration from Bridget Riley a famous artist of the Optical Art, who was able, with her works, to deceive the spectator arousing a sense of movement.

In my project I have created three different monochrome patterns, using a single continuous line which extends along a labyrinthine route. What makes these patterns original is the fact that they present a different distortion in the centre, so they visually transmit a sense of movement and three-dimensionality.
