The “Crisis collection” consists of a rocking horse “Morbillo”&”n.7” a coathanger from unsold stocks and parts of a chair all of which are made out of beech, bent using thonet´s steam system.

Crisis becomes bigger day by day. This project demonstrates a possible solution when facing a crisis. This solution is achieved by using unsold items to create something new.
The overall idea would be to apply this solution to other situations in order to make use ofunsold stocks. By applying this method, we can utilize materials more effectively, allowing us to create a larger quantity of re-designedmodels.

After playing with bent beech pieces like a childrenplay with Lego®, the “Crisis Collection” became a rocking horse and a coat hanger. Both of these pieces were developed incollaboration with proud skilled craftmen.
Each piece was treated as a piece of art, with small circulation in order to sustain a good, average price-quality. Moreover, the small circulation was chosen in order toprevent a price decrease.

My "Crisis Collection"demonstrates that it is possible to overcome crisis and provide the market place with something re-used in fresh, new way.
