PROBE 4 of the first-year design studio of Georgia Institute of Technology's School of Architecture explores architecture's ability to develop evolutionary building types with adaptive re-use of earlier ones while engaging the modern-era definition of architecture as a Fine Art. The problem included redesigning/reusing the third floor of the College of Architecture East building which currently consists of studio space, offices, and unused open roof-terrace, as a center for interdisciplinary art production.

Part A of the probe consisted of objective and subjective mappings of the site developed by myself and a fellow first-year, Joshua Putrasahan. During Part B, we split and followed our own design and problem solutions for the Probe.
