Manual Dexterity Music Zine - Spring 2008

Manual Dexterity is a independent music magazine that is printed without a set schedule. Each issue is 5.25” x 8”, black and white, and between 32-76 pages in length. I plan each issue, which includes conducting interviews and writing music reviews, and design the layout for each issue as well. The size of the zine is designed to be printed as cheaply as possible utilizing a standard Letter size (8.5”x 11”) sheet of paper, allowing a trim of .25” to create the bleeds, which is then printed on digital copy machines.

This issue has FEATURE interviews with Tim Kinsella, Haram, Polar Bear Club, The Evening Rig, Collections of Colonies of Bees, and Mitch Clem. Sixes interviews with recording engineers Larry Crane, Bruce Templeton, Graeme Gibson, Matt Bayles, Jesse Cannon, Neil Weir, and Jonathan Kreinik.
