YOSHE KALB, I.J.Singer
Based on the book Yoshe Kalb by I.J.Singer, I have created a visual book.
Visual book means a book wich can comunicate to the reader one message through its aspect.
My message is the "loss of the identity".
During the narration Yoshe, also called Nahum, loses his identity.
My intent is to trasmit this feeling creating a book that loses its identiy.

To achieve my goal I have decided to divide the book in three parts, each one with a different dimension
of format and paragraph. Gradually the paragraphs become smaller and the pages become bigger,
in this way the text seems fluctuate in the middle of the white space.
Also during the reading some typographic elements little-by-little disappear arriving at the end with
a text with only words without any grammatical puntuaction and typographic element.
The choice about the color was not to use colors, but just black and white to allow the reader to loose himself in the white space.
