During my internship, when I was working at TIMWE as a content specialist, I was often requested to design some wallpapers for feature phones and first generation Android phones. When the company lacked new content, they would ask the content specialists to create it.
 
Since I had just finished college, this was an interesting opportunity for me. All of a sudden I had the possibility to use my graphic design knowledge to create something in a medium I never worked before: the mobile phone. 
 
I had to keep in mind the cultural and technical restrictions. The sources were poor, and taking the screen size in mind, I had to create interesting content with minimal information. So I decided to design the wallpapers like I was painting in a canvas, using the tools I had at my disposal to create combinations that were appealing, yet visible and readable even in the smallest screen.
