Polyester is a truly modern and artificial material. It has some unique and strong properties, it's sustainable and long lasting material. Polyester has a good reflection and great coloring capabilities. It's also interesting process of creating objects in polyester resin which is in liquid form and it hardens to become solid material. I’ve used polyester in combination with wire, hemp fiberglass and plaster for creating this work, which is part of series of works in this material. This is a vision of three bodies running trough space and time, forever bind together in struggle, rising from scorched earth, moving and suddenly decomposing in to undefined materia, destroying each other in violent fight for life. It's an open question of existence and developing of the modern society with uncontrollable wars,poverty, sociological differences, ecological and global affect of human existence.Work contains separated muscle-like forms, which are falling apart, colored with red as a color associated violence, wars and blood, but also black which suggest to nothingness, and scorched land. Size of sculpture is about 30 x 30 x 110 centimeters and date of creation is February 2012.
