Jack’s Story to warn young people of the dangers of cannabis

 

Creative animation is being used to spread powerful messages to young people about the effects of cannabis use.

Swindon’s Youth Offending Team and substance misuse service U Turn commissioned award-winning digital media organisation Create Studios to make a four-minute film about cannabis, drawing on the experiences of young people in Swindon.

 

Jack’s Story uses a mix of traditional filming with actors and the latest creative animation techniques. It focuses on the harm cannabis can have on the adolescent brain and what impact it can have on people’s lives.

 

Create Studios drew on the expertise of U Turn and health professionals and used focus groups made up of young people to develop the central narrative of the story
