    A white marble book made for the portfolio portion of the bookbinding program at the North Bennet St. School admission process. The textblock was made with Canson sketch paper folded into signatures, sewn together with linen thread. Black food coloring and shaving cream was used to create the marble patterns for the endsheets and the spine. Cold-pressed watercolor paper was used for the endsheets and the covers. Other materials used for this book were Davey binder boards (covers), cambric cloth and 30 pt paper to stiffen and reinforce the spine, silk headbands, and PVA (glue). 5.6" x 8.8" x 0.8" Read Less
