FullyBooked Branding (Copyright FullyBooked)
FullyBooked Online - Web & Mobile Shopping

FullyBooked is one of the biggest (and I would say hippest) bookstore hubs with an established major presence across the Philippines. Strongly reinforcing the reading culture among young adults readers to adults alike, their stores offer an alternative reading experience by placing free books for in-house enjoyment, comfortable nooks, modern interiors, and embracing art and music through community events. Active social media comms are also in place. They are aggressive in reaching out to customers everyday to offer support in processing book requests or just plainly chatting and establishing small connections.

They aim to bring this experience to their website.

FullyBooked's website redesign and relaunch's main goals:
(1) to re-capture their predominantly young adult market with a fresh, eye-candy brand identity
(2) to allow a full web and mobile e-commerce experience, payment processing
(3) to have access to back office inventory management

The FullyBooked Online shop works on all mobile phones and tablets.
Mobile-friendly and fast
The mobile experience on the FullyBookedOnline homepage
I entered into a contractual UI Design/Front-end Development freelance setup with the awesome teams of Blue Catapult and FullyBooked from concept to production. My deliverables include prototypes, wireframes, designs, and front-end development. All pages must be web, mobile, and tablet compliant.

Dev team: 1 Senior RoR Engineer, 1 UI, 1 UAT Engineer, 1 Project Manager
Stack: Ruby, Spree Commerce, Bootstrap, Slim, Sass, jQuery, Amazon S3, Git

From concept to production
We started with a basic layout brief. This mock-up was in collabloration with the FullyBooked team, who pushed for a simple, structured, yet elegant welcome screen.
Current FullyBooked Online homepage in production.
Category, Genre, and Search results pages share the same view.
The product details page. "The focus should be on the book" – this is something the FullyBooked team kept emphasizing during the development process. In this page, the main navigation collapses into a thinner bar as the user scrolls down the page.
