I was asked to create a logo for builder's group. they wanted it as simple and meaningful to their name and should also convey what they are. Cedar is the common name for cedar wood, used for several different trees that grow in different parts of the world. It is something looking similar to Christmas tree and uses for boat, house building, carpentry, wooden floor etc.
