Today I would like to present my new work “Loneliness”:
The motivation to draw this new painting is pretty interesting. I was asked to draw a common household item in 10 different ways when I took the Fundamentals of Graphic Design on Coursera. I chose cup and drew 10 pictures, one of which is as follow:
At that time all I had around me was a ballpoint pen and several white sticky notes. So I simply drew it on a small 12 cm * 8 cm note and took a photo to submit as my assignment. However, though the drawing was very rough, the idea was appreciated by my classmates, which encouraged me to draw it again on my laptop. So now, we have this new drawing “Loneliness”.
