Mirage clock is the result from the extension of my interest about lens effect. While I was researching about lens effect, I found that repetition of magnifying lens could make pixelating effect. With this effect, I could make many interesting optical illusions and I decided to use this effect on my clock design. Clock has a constantly moving structure and I thought it would be much more interesting to have something continuously moving behind of this lens effect. By combining lens effect and clock, I could make interesting optical illusion on the clock surface.
Clock has 3 pointers. The shortest one is for hour and the longer one is for minute. These two pointers are just like normal pointer. However, the third which is longest and constantly moving is bit different. This Second pointer is abnormally extended to the both side to show more optical illusion.
