China has vast area of bamboo and many bamboo industry factories. But most of these factories only produce some cheap products like disposable chopsticks which are processed in crucial techniques. On the other hands, it is known to us that Taiwan has plenty of craftsmen who are skilled at bamboo crafts and there are a lot of excellent design works of bamboo material in Taiwan. However, it is difficult for Taiwanese designer to sell these product because of the limited market in Taiwan. The Achiever Age is an organization which support association between China and Taiwan in bamboo industry. Chinese designer can get benefits from Taiwanese bamboo crafts, and Taiwanese craftsmen can expand business in China mainland. I took part in this team because I want to change people's attitudes towards bamboo this traditional material. This environmental and renewable material should be valued. Our factories should transform their industry to achieve the sustainable development and produce high profits products like modern bamboo furniture rather than disposable chopsticks. That's why I cooperate with Achiever Age to finish this project.
