Lapi, a domestic ladder, is a tribute to the famous plastic chair Plia designed by Piretti in 1969. It takes inspiration from its mechanism that allows us to open it with just one gesture. The project has been developed around “decrease”, both in the mechanism and in the materials. Beyond it’s minimal design, Lapi it’s a lightweight and easy-to-use ladder that can be stored in the tightest places.
