The Awalim Dance Troupe led and managed by Ziah calls Atlanta, Georgia home.
This project consisted of photographing the troupe as part of its publicity campaign and creating a few special pieces such as this image.
The set was constructed in the studio on day 1 with days 2 and 3 dedicated to capturing the troupe's style, beauty, and sole.
The final image was produced during post-production and is actually a composite of three images from the photo session.

These two images show the studio set during construction and styling, and the set following lighting. Notice the white cylinder and gray card used during lighting tests.
These are the three raw images that where used to produce the final image. Notice the head shot was flipped so the dancer is facing towards the right. Faces where swapped in the foursome image to cherry pick the most pleasing facial expressions and angles.
During post-production the look and feel of the final image was enhanced.
