A Computer Illustration Project
For this recent computer illustration project, we had to show oversized animals in a city type of environment. I went with sea horses. In there natural environment, seahorses attach themselves to coral and plants by wrapping there tails about them. They do this often while sleeping so they don't drift away. I played off this idea but putting them on telephone poles in a city. I did this as a digital painting in photoshop CS5.
I have shown a bit of my progress: 50 thumbnails, a couple value studies, a couple color studies, and a line drawing. I used several different reference images on this as well.
