This is an infographic that shows where, why and how the northern lights occur. It is intended for an audience that has little to no knowledge about the northern lights. It has hand-drawn and hand-watercolored details to mimic the blending of colors in the sky. This piece won first place in the information design category of the 2016 Positive Space Show. Positive Space is La Roche College's annual art and design show. Outside professionals in both Graphic and Interior Design judge student work, awarding first, second, and third place prizes across multiple categories, and a Best of Show Award.
