Photographic Novel
The National are an indie rock band formed in Ohio, their lyrics have been described as "dark, melancholy and difficult to interpret". The brief was to design a graphic novel for The National's song 'Conversation 16'. As the song lyrics can be interpreted in many different ways and their own official music video has nothing to do with the song. I decided to create a booklet that would slot into the front of a CD case. I used black and white photography for the photographs which display a mysterious story about a girl who has to leave her home.
