ABANDONED - TEMPELHOF

Tempelhof is an abandoned airport built in the 1930s in Berlin during the nazi regime. I recently visited and was massively impressed at it's brutal exterior architecture. Inside though is even better as it feels preserved, I felt a calmness walking around and without a mass of people you can really appreciate it's vastness and grand decor. I'd reccomend visiting if you haven't already.

There were some amazing rooms in the airport, sometimes it felt like something from a Stanley Kubrick film. A lot of what was there felt so clinical and practical but it had a huge sense of class about it. A timeless quality. The lighting was great on that day and I think that really comes across well in the pictures without it being too over stylised.
