Vilhelm Parfumerie is a new premium perfume brand based in New York City. A niche fragrance house that offers classic scents with elaborate twists that come in bottles designed by Pierre Dinand.
Our mission was to create a visual identity and packaging that match the feel of the brand and the vintage liquor attitude of the bottle design.
The packaging for all the fragrances is a goldenrod yellow with a plain white label. At first glance, black lines and designs create an eye-catching design, but if you turn the box on its side you will see the name of the fragrance spelled out in a repeating pattern – a hidden gem that very much reflects the elusive nature of scents.
Each scent has a unique graphic identity, which can be experienced on the packaging but even more so on the images that communicate the distinct personalities of the fragrances. The images are best described as an artful interpretation of each scent.
Vilhelm Parfumerie launched in the spring of 2015 at Liberty’s in London.
