ROLLING STONE PUNK COVER
Art Direction, design
Create and design the Italian Rolling Stone’s cover dedicated to the 40th Anniversary of Punk music.
God Save the Queen is a single from the Sex Pistols only album ever released Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. That album is considered by many the anthem for the punk movement in England since It expressed the anger young people felt toward the establishment. The Idea is to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Punk music with a punk gesture: God Save the Queen come back as a modern manifesto.
I decided to celebrate this anniversary with a punk gesture: God Save the Queen come back as a modern manifesto.
The cover I designed for Rolling Stone Italy won the Coverjunkie award “best magazine cover of the year 2016”
