The 808 SceneZine was a monthly zine which I designed, photographed and wrote for from 2007 till 2010 in Honolulu. Our covers were created in collaboration with another local designer, Hanasaurus Rex. The zine began as a single page folded in half which we gradually transformed into a 16pg. booklet that became the only printed publication to showcase & promote local bands of all genres while giving the spotlight to unknown artists, many who later went on to become the next generation of successful business owners transforming our Downtown landscape into a reknowned arts district.
