The 2016 International Women's Day Demonstration took place in the popular neighborhood of Belleville, with hundreds of women gathering together to occupy the public space with their variety of identities. Alone or with their own organization, each woman claimed for the same: equality, and with it, the end of all sorts of discrimination and violence. These portraits are a tribute to their strength and commitment.
