Savings Bond Cards
In this currency project, we were asked to design to unique forms of currency that somehow incorporated a grid study and a general theme. Intensive grid manipulations were made before settling on the one featured on the card.

My currency cards are hypothetical "in-between" cards for owners of numerous savings bonds. The cards feature touch pad security and the ability to store bonds, even immature ones, in one convenient location, thereby removing the danger of losing paper treasury bonds. I featured notable American economists on the cards to pay tribute to the great thinkers in our monetary system.
The microprinted text on both the obverse and reverse sides of the card are passages from the economist Adam Smith's seminal text, "The Wealth of Nations." Microprinting is featured on many world currencies to prevent counterfeiting.
