Bauhaus Timeline
Bauhaus Movement
Bauhaus, was a school in Germany that combined crafts and the fine arts, and was famous for the approach to design that it publicized and taught. It operated from 1919 to 1933. At that time the German term Bauhaus, literally "house of construction" stood for "School of Building".

I love their concept of design, everything must have form and function. The Bauhaus school was founded by Walter Gropius, architect,  in Weimar.

Bauhaus has had a big influence in my work.  Using the grid system for layouts to give a very structure clean look and feel to any design.  Although I appreciate all forms of design, Bauhaus has to be one of my favorites.
