In this assignment we were asked to follow along with the 2015/2016 IIDA Booth Design International Student Competition. Although the deadline had passed for the competition the value of the exercise is to prepare us for the rigors involved in entering and submitting professional work to a jury of our industry's representatives. Our challenge was to design and transform a trade show booth (approximately 300 square feet; height about 8ft) into a branded, visually attractive space that emphasizes the IIDA Brand as the Commercial Interior Design Association. The booth should function as a stand-out exhibition explaining who IIDA is, and what IIDA represents globally, and why membership in IIDA is a valuable resource for both Commercial Interior Designers and Manufacturers. Create an area for IIDA to greet and engage members and potential members attending an IIDA Conference in the country of our choice.

Concept: To design an IIDA Trade Show Booth emphasizing the mission of IIDA and its branding inspired by Morocco.
Process: Researched IIDA and Morocco to fully understand each creating a mind map connecting similarities between the two and created a few quick concept sketches.
Creativity: Techniques used in Sketchup that I learned this quarter in my other class CAD II.
Presentation: Created a 24" x 36" Presentation board containing inspiration, concept statement, my design process, and final renderings.
