Below you'll find a set of promotional pieces for the annual Portfolio Review night for the graduating creatives at WCTC.
My idea was triggered by the left and right side of the brain. Being a creative, I have a passion for seeing things differently than others. The left side is very logical, analytical and strategic. The right side is driven by color and has a vibrant imagination. My strong headline intrigues viewers to come see the world from our perspective. After creating the abstract painting filled with color, I used the negative space in my artwork to incorporate the typography. Not only is my poster visually appealing, it is colorful and the event information has hierarchy without taking away from the message and artwork.
