Art Pit has been estab­lished in 2008 in East Europe and in 2012 went inter­na­tion­ally. It all star­ted, when a group of cre­at­ives from Eastern Europe felt frus­trated by the lack of good qual­ity online rep­res­ent­a­tion of extremely vibrant cre­at­ive envir­on­ment they live in. Eastern Europe has a uniquely subtle cre­at­ive scene. We have been explor­ing it for quite a while now. Artist of dif­fer­ent age heav­ily influ­enced by East and West cul­tures, dif­fer­ent eco­nom­ical, polit­ical and social events, are emer­ging every day with amaz­ing art­works and projects. One of the main object­ives for ArtPit​.org, is to build new bridges between East and West, through col­lab­or­a­tion, com­mu­nic­a­tion and sharing. Read Less
