Concept
・Draw the characters so the appear to be living in everyday spaces
・Show their cute and weird aspects
・Add a sense of realism so the characters seem as they really could be living around us
コハルさん
あたたかな雰囲気のぶたです。
公園でたそがれるおじさんにインスピレーションを受けたため、少しアンニュイな雰囲気が残っています。
Koharu san
A warm hearted piglet. This character was inspired by some old guys hanging around in a park.
A little bit bored and maybe a little bit tired after work.
田村さん
ヒップスター文化に興味を持って作りました。 「ヒゲ・メガネ・がっしりした体格」の三大特徴が似合いそうな、バッファローをモデルにしています。
珍しく服飾小物を身につけているので、フィギュアではキャストオフ出来る仕様です！
Mr. Tamura
Made this character inspired by the hipster movement.
To the main characteristics (healthy appearance, beard and glasses, love for taking photos with a tiny camera) I tried to match an animal.
the buffalo was perfect! The figurine was made so the things he holds can be changed.
ティーズ
いろんなキャラクターに歯を描くのが好きなので、そんなに好きなら歯単体でと思ってつくりました。
虫歯、金歯銀歯、乳歯、親知らずなどなど、個性をつけやすいです。
Teeth tooth
I like adding teeth to all of my characters so I tried to go one step further and made the teeth into separate characters.
Teeth with cavities, golden and silver teeth, milk teeth, wisdom teeth - there are lots of different kinds so easy to make into characters.
頭花
植物園で食虫植物とサボテンを見て作りました。
植物に話しかけ続けたら、元気に育つのを通り越してめっちゃ喋ったら楽しそうです。
Flower head
Made this character after looking at bug eating plants and cacti at a botanical garden.
Also tried to invert the idea that plants grow better when talked to - it would be more interesting if the plants themselves wouldn’t shut up.
キリンジン
名前の通り、キリンとヒトのハイブリットです。
キリンは特徴の多い動物ですが、どこまで人間っぽく寄せると奇妙可愛くなるか、作っていて楽しいヤツです。
Human-giraffe(Kirin-jin)
Just as the name suggests a hybrid of a man and giraffe.
Giraffe is an animal with a lot of characteristic traits so it was very interesting to experiment with such hybrid character.
