After many years of threatening to do so, I finally took my Scandiphile wife away for a weekend to Stockholm where the weather was glorious and the people far too happy and healthy looking for our pale and pallid tastes. 

Despite the above, a fabulous time was endured and we even will probably have to re-visit Stockholm and more of Scandinavia in the coming years.
