Book design of Das Elster-Experiment written by Jan Kuhlbrodt. The actual beginning of the book was author's blog, where he led a discussion with other intellectuals. For one week, day by day Kuhlbrodt asked questions about creation myths and sources of western culture. That is why the appropriate questions from the blog are the beginning of each of seven chapters. Some of the original comments were included as well.

Project was made during TypoLabor Course on Universität der Künste Berlin under the supervision of Jeanny Baese, 2015/2016

The cover was made of mirror paper with silkscreen-printed CANDIDE model –  universal mask developed for model-based coding of human faces.

Mask appeares once again on half title page.
