GOOD, BAD, & UGLY in Firearms
This project had us use what we had learned in Graphic Design and evaluate what we personally deemed good, bad and ugly in our chosen topic. Being an Art School, most people chose to focus on booze, tea, boutiques, and other fashionable areas. I chose a topic that stood in contrast to that; something that is gritty and would not be seen as often in this environment: Firearms. I chose to look at good, bad, and ugly design in firearms logos, gun cleaning products, and ammunition packaging. The following are most of the pages from that project. Enjoy!
Notice the pull-out folded and perforated pistol target in the center of the book. Nice addition to this book. The last page is a perforated card to join the NRA (National Rifle Association) that may be filled out and mailed off. I like adding functional elements in a book.
