For the past month or so I've been illustrating every X-Men character from 1963 - 1999... There are so many X-Men. I've been a fan of the team ever since I watched the first episode of the 90's animated TV series (which was something like 25 years ago) and there's about 50 or so characters I didn't even know existed. So what started as a fun drawing project turned out to be very educational in the process.

 

If you follow me on Instagram, you've seen the work-in-progress up to now, but I wanted to make sure I posted the final products here so you can actually see the illustrations in full rather than trying to make out those tiny square images on your phone.

 

Enough type, look at the pretty pictures!

And there you have it! Every X-Men member (to my knowledge, don't get offended if I missed one!) from 1963-1999. I sprinkled in some villains for flavor.

 

Also, this is strictly X-Men, I didn't include X-Force, X-Factor, New Mutants, Excalibur, Generation X or any of those other teams just because I'd be working on this project until I'm 40 if I went that route. Maybe next time though.
