JKR Juice 2016: Orbit Space Water

The Brief

Here is my entry for the JKR Juice competition 2016, which asked us to create the first ever brand for Space Water. This inspired me to design a new drinks bottle range, that will provide the consumer with an experience they will never forget.

Chosen Concept

My final outcome with the brand name Orbit concists of all eight planets containing unique volumes of water which relates to the natural size of each individual planet, with the smallest planet Mercury containing 300ml, and the largest planet Jupiter containing 1Ltr. Although they are not to scale, this simple concept allows consumers to get a rough idea of the different planet sizes in comparison to one another.

The planets will be sold individually, allowing you to collect every one if you wish. Prices will differ depending on the content of water, with Jupiter being the most expensive. Pluto which has been voted too small to be a planet, will follow as a Limited Edition bottle.

Regarding the aesthetics, I decided to keep it simple, with the main focus evolving around the planets pattern and colour. This was based on the planets original characteristics, which I then enhanced using more vibrant colours.

Website

A website will also be provided, to allow you to view, or even purchase one or two of the products, which will be displayed in order of their distance from the Sun, with Mercury being the closest.

This is supported by a simple diagram shown at the bottom of the screen which gives you precise stats on the distance of each planet from the sun. The diameter of the planets are also present.

So not only can you purchase a beautiful product to display on your shelf, you can also learn something new.
