HEAP SENG LEONG COFFEESHOP

A Coffee shop in Singapore is typically known as "Kopitiam" . The word Kopi is a Malay/Hokkien term for coffee and Tiam is the Hokkien term for shop (店). Menus at Kopitiam typically feature simple offerings: a variety of foods based on egg, toast, and kaya, plus coffee, tea, and Milo, a malted chocolate drink.

For this project, we were asked to create a Pangram for our module Professional Finishing. It is a pair work and we were given the freedom to choose our own theme and title. My groupmate and I decided to do on Coffee shop in Singapore because it is something very personal and local to us. Heap Seng Leong is one of the oldest and traditional coffee shops you can find in Singapore and is one of the few places left in Singapore that you can catch a glimpse of Singapore past.

"In the past, coffee makers wore pyjamas to assure their bosses that they weren’t stealing money largely because the coins would make a loud clatter if placed in the baggy pockets."  - The Lion Raw
