Today’s society exists in a multicultural and multimedia framing. The Internet is one global archive deriving from different cultures, languages and societies. The problem is that the end consumer and the producer of any message do not always share the same cultural and linguistic background. Thus, audiovisual subtitling becomes a crucial device for transmitting the intended meaning to different audiences. 777 is my graduation project for the department of Communication Design at ISIA Urbino. Its aim is to investigate multimedia communication, focused on the subtitling of audiovisual products.
