This project takes its cue from its location of the intense urban situation of the Queen and Bathurst area, Toronto.
Proposing an “Interior Urbanism”, this project introduces the complexity of streetcar overhead lines--an instigator of urbanity through circulation--into the open spaces of the office which read as urban intersections. Conference rooms are articulated as buildings-within-buildings in a store-front typology. Exterior materials, lights, planting, and even a piece of landscape-as-mini-golf are introduced to further create the dynamic, diverse and contingent quality of the urban sphere, indoors, generating constant excitement in this office space.

The paved 'sidewalk', with exterior brick elements in certain areas, and the streetcar wires overhead create the 'streetscape' the design aims for.
