Tulane Law School's Eason Weinmann Center studies international law, and the differences and similarities between legal systems around the globe. From the start, I was interested in designs that suggested a global focus and interconnectedness.

After reviewing the designs, the center decided they preferred something that more directly referenced a globe. I didn't want to use a standard, realistic globe because almost every other comparative law-related logo seemed to do that. For the second round of designs, I experimented with different ways of working the letters E and W into a design that suggested a globe but still retained enough abstractness to not come off as clichéd.
