In order to raise awareness on climate change and its related impact, the Government of Zambia with the support of the World Bank and African Development Bank are implementing a social marketing campaign across the country.

 

To support this social marketing campaign, Black Dot Media was required to produce artworks and come up with a ribbon that would be used throughout the campaign.

 

The theme for the campaign is “Act Now! Go Green.” This theme relays the urgency of changing our habits that are harming the environment immediately.

 

An orange and green ribbon was created to represent the cause of the campaign. The colours used represent the resilience of the people and natural resources.

 

The artworks show varying scenes of a dying environment such as a dry wasteland and a melting earth. This is to evoke emotion and show the reality of what is happening due to climate change.

 

In order to reveal all the artworks that were created for the social media campaign, Black Dot Media put together a reveal video. The video explains the dangers of climate change and reveals the full campaign including the theme, artworks and the ribbon.
