I like music. Well, honestly, I love music. So, probably 95% of the commercial work I do ends up being music related. I got my start as a designer by making flyers for my own band, so I guess it makes sense. You can see it reflected in some of my poster art here.
While living in Mexico City, I was approached by members of the Mexican offices of Vice Magazine to do an animated GIF promoting their summer pool parties. This is what I came up with. Images are collaged from vintage smut magazines and the overall vibe is of a vintage Mexican B-Movie.
