A park ranger closes the gate to the new Boquillas border crossing. The crossing links Big Bend National Park and the tiny village of Boquillas, Mexico in Coahuila state. Boquillas is one of the most remote villages in Mexico but only a river crossing away from Rio Grande Village in Texas' Big Bend National Park. On April 10, 2013 the U.S. re-opened the crossing after more than 10 years. ©2014 Robert W. Hart
